American Trade Secrets has put together a community matching challenge. For every dollar that is donated to the ATS Vision Fund, American Trade Secrets will match 1:1 of the donated amount in tuition scholarships.

Example: When a business or community member donates $1,000.00, then American Trade Secrets will MATCH $1,000.00 in scholarships to scholarship recipients. Giving the candidates a total $2,000.00 award funded towards the scholarship recipients tuition expenses.

Any amount donated will be matched to provide a greater impact for scholarship recipients. All donations are tax deductible and are used to help fund tuition and program expenses.

With the contributions of the business donors below, it will now be possible for scholarship recipients to participate in our curriculum tuition free. This provides recipients with a unique hands on building experience that shapes the foundation of their future.

Army Cpl. Kory D. Wiens and SGT. Cooper Died July 6, 2007 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom

20, of Independence, Oregon.; assigned to the 94th Mine Dog Detachment, 5th Engineer Battalion, 1st Engineer Brigade, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; died July 6 in Muhammad Sath, Iraq, of wounds sustained from an improvised explosive device. Also killed was Pfc. Bruce C. Salazar Jr.

“I wanted to take a moment to honor all of those in our military who have sacrificed everything for our freedom. There is no words or actions that could make up for what they have done for our country and families. Kory Duane Wiens was one of my best friends growing up and into young adulthood.

The news of him dying in Afghanistan really opened my eyes to how fortunate we all are to have our freedom and how expensive the true cost of it is. He is one of many soldiers that have made the ultimate sacrifice for us. I will forever be privileged and honored to have spent so much of my childhood with him.

Last year in November we had the opportunity to do something for all military and honor our veterans. We donated a hardscape to the VFW Post 584, for their families to enjoy the good times in life with. It was incredible to talk with so many veterans and hear there stories of courage and bravery along with remembering so many who died for our freedom.

We built a memorial for CPL. Kory Duane Wiens and SGT. Cooper so that they always have a spot by the fire. This memorial also stands as a symbol for all of the fallen soldiers that never got to live out there dreams, but have allowed us to do so in place.

Below are the companies that donated and contributed to the creation of the VFW project. Click on the businesses below to learn more about how they can serve you today!
